KALTIS is developing a strategic industrial investment to establish a large-scale European hub for the manufacturing, integration and distribution of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Western Macedonia, Greece.
The project is designed to support European energy security, industrial resilience and the accelerated deployment of energy storage infrastructure.

Eligible industrial investments by large enterprises may qualify for up to 50% non-refundable government grant support, subject to programme eligibility and approval.
€20 Million
Maximum Non-Refundable Grant
The project may qualify for grant support of up to €20 million, based on an eligible investment budget of up to €40 million.

Applications under the current programme are expected to be submitted by 30 September 2026, in accordance with the published timetable.
